Near Norton's Webster Street office, a congregation plans to build a new church on a previously occupied lot with some additional property added. The project is currently in the planning stage.

Norton Engineering is working with the pastor and the church facility committee to lay out the site plan with the necessary parking and storm drainage considerations.

Stormwater design considerations must be part of any new construction permitting; it needs to be modeled and laid out in a fashion that will be pleasing to the eye of the parishioners. Norton likes to make these necessary site details not only pleasing to the eye, but easy and inexpensive to maintain. If any existing trees and shrubbery can be preserved, Norton will include their locations in the planning documents; this can save landscaping costs and win points for environmental preservation, too.
