Insulated Concrete Form Shop Drawings:

This new school in Cincinnati was designed with an Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) exterior shell. ICF has become very popular in commercial buildings, schools especially, for the insulation value, strength, and ease of construction. The bid documents required shop drawings from the ICF supplier to show clearly all the wall dimensions and details for field construction.

Main Entry

Because of our existing working relationship with the ICF supplier, Norton was asked to provide these shop drawings for the project. The 13 sheet set of elevations and details was completed for the client in the summer of 2011. Construction is set to begin early in the fall.
