Incineration In Uganda:In 2005, Norton was employed by African Initiative Concepts, LTD to analyze and make recommendations regarding the possibility of using Waste-to-Energy to generate electricity for Uganda's major Cities. This work included visiting Kampala to examine the nature of the local municipal trash, performing an economic analysis of the potential project costs, and discussing the subject with government officials. The project did not move forward due to lawsuits between the principals. |
